“Life Asks To Be Lived”

Hi and Welcome! If you’re looking at this site, you’re looking for something. I know that place. Looking for a feeling, maybe without even being sure of what it is. I’ll share a little about me and my journey.
I worked really hard to achieve lots of degrees and as a result the accompanying labels (lawyer, psychologist, spiritual teacher, and others). They worked for a while, but ultimately, I think I just felt confined. Then I started to realize that the confinement was as a result of my conditioning – those preverbal and unspoken agreements you make about who and how you are supposed to be before you know that you are making them.
So I took a deep dive inward and came into contact with something else. A feeling of Aliveness – the spirit of me beneath all the other stuff. The more I explored, I realized that this is what powers everything! But, it get’s dampen by conditioning. Letting go of conditioning that isn’t working for you is not an act of rebellion. It’s an act of courage. It’s scary and exciting. And it brings you to the beautiful question “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” (Mary Oliver – American Poet).
