I mentor a way to navigate through the noise and busyness to your
inner quiet truth and way of knowing.

A lot of words have become popular to use. Language is important. It can carry heaviness and burden keeping you entrenched in the past or optimism and possibility allowing you to vision an expansive now and future. Language positions you and at the same time it must be truthful.

There are words that I use instead of other words.

Here’s a summary:

  • Instead of trauma, I see adaptation.
  • Instead of fixing/repairing, I see growing edge.
  • Instead of triggers, I see opportunity to practice.
  • Instead of doing the work, I see aligning with your true self.

As a result, you experience yourself as ever-growing, evolving, and becoming more deeply yourself with awareness and practice.

Populations I specialize in mentoring:

I have worked with homeless populations and children exploited in prostitution and volunteered for 3 months in an orphanage in Nepal, to regular people living everyday life with its many challenges, to leaders and professional athletes. The inner patterns of pain and isolation are the same. The need for mentorship to navigate to an experience of inner acceptance and wholeness is consistent.

These days I specialize in mentoring.

About me:

The most helpful thing in life is speaking with someone who has walked through where you are at and who has gained wisdom, compassion, and grace along the way. This is the person who can help you navigate.

  • When you have a broken arm, you need an expert who can set the arm just right so it can heal.
  • When you have a set of beliefs and patterns about feeling unworthy or not being good enough no matter what you accomplish, no one can set your spirit or psyche just right so it can heal.
  • A psychologist will give you a temporarily helpful set of beliefs that won’t heal the original wound. A spiritual advisor will tell you that none of it is real so no need to worry or struggle.

A mentor, like myself, has been there.

I know what it feels like to struggle with unworthiness and not feel good enough. I have fourteen years of education to prove that accomplishing more doesn’t help.

I know what it feels like to be estranged from family and then heal so deeply that a reunion is possible.

I know what it feels like to be married and divorced, to raise two children on my own full time and come out the other side with a heart full of love and relationships that are deeply kind and accepting.

It has not been an easy road, but it has been a nourishing one. I call it: the path not taken.

I’ve grown through all of it into wisdom and grace by healing the inside. I have four degrees and thousands of hours with clients. Most importantly, I have learned that we are all unique and this means that our way through the dark is unique too. What we each need is a guide or mentor – someone who with experience and expertise shines the light into the dark shadows so that you can reclaim your wholeness.

Coincidentally, my name means ‘Light’ in Sanskrit. I guess my parents saw something about my purpose right from the beginning.
